Health and Safety Guidelines

Hello Everyone!!!

As restrictions seem to be lifting, we are very grateful to be taking our guidance from our healthcare practitioners on protocol and procedures. We have yet to have any issues in this matter as we have the most AWESOME clients! 💛💛💛

Please note: As Massage Therapist, we have received thorough training on communicable diseases and sanitation as a part of our training. This is something we don’t take lightly and thrive to maintain a clean environment for our clients under any circumstance.

Arrival and departure:

Although we are not a high- traffic business, we will make sure that we begin and end sessions on time to limit traffic in the lounge area.
If you are a new client, we have intake forms available online so that you can fill out at your convenience, this way your therapist can walk you to the treatment room and discuss your session promptly. Your therapist will email you when you book your appointment.

Once you enter the facility, you will be met with a non contact thermometer and a spritz of hand sanitizer.

DO NOT COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT have any of the following symptoms:

Shortness of Breath
Digestive Issues or Nausea
Chills or Body Aches
Pink Eye
Sore Throat/Congestion

If you have ANY of these symptoms please, let us know when you get your confirmation text, we would appreciate honesty and will have to reschedule your appointment. If you do come in sick, the “no show” fee of 1/2 the service price (whichever is less) will be applied since we will not be able to see you.

There is also a strict “no guests” policy that we put into place. Unfortunately, this means children too. Once again, if you bring a guest that cannot safely be left alone outside, we will not be able to treat you and the aforementioned fees will be applied.

Upon departure, we will check you out in the treatment room.

Cleaning, Sanitation, and Upkeep:

One of the things we have always prided ourselves on is maintaining a clean facility for our clients and staff.
As we stay on top of keeping the Apex Retreat clean and sanitized all year round, these are some of the new protocols we have implemented for extra precautions:

  • Frequent (3 x 4 per day) wiping down of all surfaces with disinfectant solutions made with a high alcohol content and Essential oils Surfaces include:
  • All door handles, outside and inside
  • Sink faucets, kitchen, and bathroom toilet flusher handle
  • Lounge Area -2 spray bottles of sanitizers, and boxes of tissues are always out for daily use.
  • 2x daily bathroom cleaning
  • Sharing best hygiene practices with our team
  • If anyone from our team feels even slightly ill, they will stay home and work remotely.
  • Entire building sanitized with lysol at the end of the day

The rest of our protocol will remain the same.
We have always sanitized properly and will continue to do so.

Our promise to you is we will provide the cleanest space in all of Apex so you can be carefree and enjoy your time here with us. We are here to serve you.
